As part of its ongoing role in supporting and facilitating procedures for the hotel sector, the Jordan Hotels Association, in cooperation with the Social Security Corporation, organized an awareness workshop via Zoom. The session targeted liaison officers of hotel and tourism establishments with outstanding debts owed to the Social Security Corporation.

The workshop was presented by Mr. Mohammad Abu Al-Heija, Director of the Legal Affairs and Collections Department at the Corporation. He outlined the mechanism for benefiting from the Board of Directors’ decision to allow debt installment payments at a 0% interest rate, and highlighted the advantages this decision offers to the hotel sector.

During the workshop, Mr. Abu Al-Heija emphasized that the Corporation has simplified the installment process, allowing for repayment over up to 180 installments, in recognition of the challenges the tourism sector has faced due to regional and economic conditions. He also noted that applications for installment plans or the rescheduling of existing agreements can be submitted until December 31, 2025.

The Association urges hotel establishments to take advantage of this exceptional decision before the deadline, as it provides direct support to the sector and helps it overcome financial challenges.
